Craig F. Wilks
Craig is a lifelong resident of Hamilton, Ohio who joined the agency in 1981. Craig is an honors graduate of the University of Tennessee in Knoxville with degrees in Finance and Insurance. Craig has extensive training and experience in all fields of insurance and became President of the newly formed agency corporation in 1993. In addition to his management of the Wilks Agency Inc., Craig is very active in leadership positions on a variety of boards and organizations throughout Southwestern Ohio. He currently serves as Chairman of the Board of the Hamilton Community Foundation and was recently chosen as "Business Man of the Year" for 2004 in Butler County by the Greater Hamilton Chamber of Commerce. William C. Wilks
"Bill" Wilks founded the Wilks Insurance Agency in 1955 and is quite proud of the 50 year anniversary in serving the insurance needs of the Southwestern Ohio region. Bill has been invloved in virtually all lines of insurance and has gained a great deal of knowledge and experience throughout his insurance career. Bill has been a strong advocate for "community" and in addition to career in insurance he has been the recipient of countless awards including both local and state Hall of Fames induction for his athletic accomplishments, the Butler County Business Hall of Fame, Business Man of the Year and was recently selected as Hamilton's Citizen of the Year in 2005. Kathy Simpson
Kathy is a resident of Fairfield, Ohio and attended Miami University and in 1973 began her insurance career working with the Ohio Casualty Insurance Company in the underwriting department. She became a licensed agent in 1981 and gained a great deal of experience working for several different insurance agencies before joining Wilks Insurance in 1996. Wilma Davidson
Wilma is a resident of Hamilton, Ohio and has 45 years of experience as a licensed agent which has included work in virtually all areas of insurance over the years. She started with the Wilks Insurance Agency as a licensed agent in 1968 and has now worked in the Hamilton office for 37 years! Wilma has a wealth of experience in all fields of insurance and has worked in all departments at the Wilks agency over the years. Judy Metzler
Judy is a resident of Hamilton, Ohio and a graduate of Butler Business School. She started her insurance career as a claims examiner for Ohio Casualty Insurance Company in 1967. She has been a licensed insurance agent for the past twelve years and began working with Wilks Insurance in the Hamilton office in 1997. Although Judy has had extensive training in both commercial and personal lines, she now works closely with personal lines clients in the Hamilton office and assists with all personal lines claims. Linda has recently joined the Wilks Insurance team. Linda is a life long resident of Hamilton, OH. She started her insurance career with the Ohio Casualty Group in 1971 working in the homeowners and auto departments. She gained a wealth of experience while working in various jobs but she decided that helping customers with their personal insurance was her best career path. She returned to the Agency side of the insurance industry and became a licensed agent in 2001. Kathy J. Lauer
Kathy is a lifelong resident of Hamilton, Ohio who began her insurance career in 1982 with the Ohio Casualty Insurance Company. In 1989 she joined Wheeler Insurance Agency as a licensed agent before merging with the Wilks Insurance Agency in 2005. Vickie has been proudly working in the insurance business for the past twenty years and joined the Wheeler Insurance Agency as a licensed agent in 1994. Michael E. Aiken, CLU, ChFC
Mike is a retired High School Principal who decided to make a career change and entered the insurance business in 1982. Mike is a resident of Fairfield, Ohio where he also serves as volunteer for the police department and is active in Fairfield Kiwanis club. Mike has been involved in all types of insurance including ownership of his own agency before joining the Wilks Insurance Agency as the head of the Life insurance department in 1998. Kevin Oleckniche
Kevin graduated from Eastern Kentucky University with a B.S. in Fire & Safety Engineering Technology. He holds a M.S. in Occupational Safety & Health Management from Indiana State University. Kevin started his insurance career in 1991 and in 2006 joined the Wilks Insurance team as the Vice President in charge of our West Chester office. Before joining us Kevin served 10 years as the Assistant Vice President of Loss Control for the Cincinnati Insurance Company. Kevin holds many insurance professional designations - he is a Chartered Property Casualty Underwriter (CPCU), Associate in Risk Management (ARM), Certified Safety Professional (CSP). Steve Nguyen
Steve and his family are residents of West Chester, Ohio and we are very pleased that Steve has joined us as the most recent addition to the Wilks Insurance team. He is a graduate of the Ohio State University and has an MBA from Butler University in Indianapolis. Steve is involved in Hamilton by being a member of the Board of Directors with the Fitton Center for the Creative Arts. Robert S. Atkinson
"Bob" is a graduate of Indian Hill high school, Miami University and the University of Cincinnati with a degree in Marketing. Bob is a father of six and he is a native of Cincinnati who now resides in Loveland, Ohio. Anne Phelps
Anne attended Maria Regina College in upstate New York and started her career part time at the age of 18. Currently a resident of Loveland, Ohio she now has over 35 years experience in the insurance business and became a licensed agent in 1991. Joyce Norris, CISR, CPSR
Joyce is a native of Middletown, Ohio and currently resides in Liberty Township. She attended Miami University in Middletown and Sinclair Community College before beginning her insurance career for her father's insurance agency in 1985. During Joyce's past twenty years working within her family owned insurance agency she has been trained and active in all fields of insurance. She has been a licensed agent for 20 years. Hallie Gambrell
Hallie is a lifelong resident of Hamilton, Ohio who began her career working with the Schmidt Insurance Agency in 1979. She became a licensed Property and Casualty Insurance agent in 1983 and has worked and been trained in all fields of insurance in a career that has now spanned over 25 years. She joined the Wilks Insurance Agency team in 1991 when the agency purchased the Schmidt Insurance of Hamilton. Hallie has been trained in all areas of insurance as the former office manager of the Schmidt agency but she now concentrates on working with personal lines clients of the Hamilton office. Larry J. Slocum
Larry is a graduate of Western Michigan University and in 1983 began his insurance career with the Wheeler insurance Agency, becoming the President and owner of the agency in 1996. Recently the Wheeler Insurance Agency, which was founded in 1935, has merged their office with Wilks Insurance. Larry has had a very distinguished career in the insurance industry and brings a wealth of experience to the newly combined staff at Wilks Insurance. Larry also has and will continue to serve in a number of volunteer boards and various leadership positions throughout Butler County. Larry looks forward to continuing his very active insurance career with the newly formed team at the Wilks Insurance Agency working with all the clients in the agency and concentrating on integrating new and expanded computer technology at both Wilks Insurance locations to better serve our customers into the future.
